Designed to provide a premium experience, it features elegant rooms, stylish communal spaces, and dining options that highlight the best of local produce.This project involves the construction of a three-storey hotel building using a precast concrete crosswall structure. The design ensures efficient load transfer and structural stability while maintaining a streamlined and cost-effective construction process.

The hotel is built using precast concrete crosswalls, providing both load-bearing capacity and lateral stability. The structure integrates precast filigree slabs with a structural screed topping, ensuring a robust and durable flooring system.

• Transfer of Vertical Loads

  • Flooring - Precast filigree slabs span simply supported onto precast concrete walls and steel beams, with beams bearing on precast walls at each floor level.
  • Structural Walls - Precast concrete crosswalls provide vertical support for slabs, stair landings, and other framing elements.

• Transfer of Horizontal Loads

  • The building is designed as a braced structure, ensuring stability under wind loads and notional horizontal loads.
  • Precast shear walls form part of the overall lateral stability system.
  • During erection, temporary propping ensures stability until all connections are secured.
  • In the final stage, screeded hollowcore slab units act as a diaphragm, transferring forces to precast shear walls to stabilise the structure.
